Individual membership dues are collected annually; administrative year, October 1 to September 30.
Sustaining corporate memberships are available. Details provided upon request.
Membership levels is OPEN to anyone wishing to support the Crawfish farming industry
and all levels are VERY AFFORDABLE!

I have been involved in active crawfish production for ten years. Last year I offered to serve on the board of directors of LCFA and it has proved to be wise decision. There is so much to learn about this industry and the men and women on this board are dedicated to sharing that knowledge and building a strong organization for the promotion of our product.
By becoming more connected to other crawfish producers and vendors, I have become a better manager. As I have met more producers and studied their operations, equipment, etc., I have added a dozen better practices to my operation.
Let me encourage each of you to get out of your ponds and off of your farms, spend some time seeing what other producers are doing and build new networks throughout this industry. And you can do a lot of this by joining and participating in this organization. For the price of a few pounds of crawfish you can gain a lot of knowledge.

My membership is my little way of helping crawfish farmers who were hurt by Katrina and Rita. I¹m glad to support the LCFA and have already passed out membership material to fellow members of the LSU Alumni Association here. Supporting the LCFA now will help ensure crawfish for future generations.
